In thw web site www.hrw.org I found an article that talks about women's status in iraq prior to the fall of the Saddam Hussein Government. the article says that before women were able to vote, run for office, and own property . The article states that the organization GFIW that was offering job training, educational, and other social programs. Some women say that this organization was destructive to women's issues in Iraq. It also talks about article 19, how everybody is equal regardless of sex, blood, language, etc. This article helped me by giving me an idea where to look in the constitution.

In The New York Times I found thi article that says that 52% of Americans want the troops out of Iraq. It says that the U.S.A. troops are only creating more violence than fixing any of the problems. The name of the article is One War Lost Another To Go, by Frank Rich publishe Nov. 20 2005. In the library they have this paper that would help you to do all your research, for the paper it is called Electronic Resources.
To find out more about the friendship that Bush and Channey have you can read the article in The New York Times by Elizabeth Bumiller published Nov. 21 2005. The name of the article is "Bush and Channey Still Side by Side But". The article talks about how they both go to the CIA and FBI briefings and how they still have their weekly lunch together.go to www.proquest.com.
After I went to www.wsws.org I found this article called Political Conflicts Intersifies Over Bush's Iraq War Lies. This article talks about why Bush decided to go to war. The thing that caught my attention was that vice president Channey is defending Bush, (they are close friends after all). This article says that president Bush went into war because Saddam weapons of mass destruction and that he had violated the Un security council resolution. It also has Clinton's opinoin on the war, how he thinks that going to war was a big mistake, because the U.S.A. did not have enough troops. It also talks about how the press and democratic leaders are making it seem like President Bush made a horrible decission of going to war.
