Since we live in a free country we should be able to do whatever we want as long as it doesn't hurt anyone. In regards to the desecration of the U.S. flag, people should go to jail if they burn the U.S. flag. What kind of respect do people that burn the flag have for their country. It is absurd that people want to burn the flag when they live in a country that gives us so many opportunities to progress in life. If people from the United States of America burn the flag, imagine what kind of message they are sending to our enemies. If people burn the flag is like we are not proud of our country. We should respect our flag, because a flag is the icon of a country.
